Isang Himing (IH)

Isang Himig (IH) is a multicultural, non-competitive a cappella group at the University of California, Santa Cruz, associated with Bayanihan (the Filipino Student Association). Originally starting as a choir for the Pilipino Cultural Celebration in the mid-1990s, the group evolved into a full a cappella ensemble in 2005 and has since performed at numerous events both on and off campus. Isang Himig, which means "One Melody" in Tagalog, is dedicated to fostering community and diversity through their passion for singing, and even maintains an alumni branch called Isang Himig Legacy to continue their musical tradition.
