UCSC Amateur Radio Club

The UCSC Amateur Radio Club is a student organization dedicated to exploring radio technology and helping members become licensed Amateur (Ham) Radio Operators. Meeting weekly on Fridays from 1-2pm in BE-308, the club welcomes students of all experience levels interested in learning about radio engineering, communications, and RF technology. Since its informal formation in 2010 and official recognition in 2014, the club provides opportunities for students to develop technical skills, participate in radio operations, and potentially support emergency communications efforts.
