NeuroTechSC

NeuroTechSC is the UC Santa Cruz chapter of NeuroTechX, a student organization dedicated to exploring brain-computer interaction, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence through hands-on project development. The club is organized into four specialized teams focusing on hardware, machine learning, data processing, and software integration, and has achieved notable success by winning the NeuroTechX Student Competition in both 2021 and 2023 with innovative projects like a silent-speech interface and subvocal phoneme recognition system. Members meet weekly on Tuesdays at 7pm and collaborate on cutting-edge neurotechnology research and development, with opportunities for students to engage in practical, interdisciplinary work at the intersection of neuroscience and technology.
